A visit to the spa is one of the best ways to relax and unwind, especially while enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of Dalyan. To make sure you get the most out of your experience, here are some important things to know before your appointment.
1. Book Your Treatments in Advance
- If you have already decided which treatment you will receive before you arrive, it is useful to indicate this. Or if you are undecided and want to decide when you arrive, you can tell us without hesitation.
- Visitors spend an average of one and a half hours/ two hours in our facility and this pre-acceptance is valid if the service to be received is not specified in advance. This time is calculated based on the most preferred packages such as classic, sultan etc. If there is a service you want to receive/add other than similar packages (such as mud bath or pedicure), it will be useful to specify before you arrive.
- You can always make changes to the service you receive. This allows us to provide you with the most suitable staff and to arrange other bookings.
2. Don’t wear perfume or thick products
- You are going to be showering and rinsing them all off anyway, so avoid wearing perfume and heavy products. Likewise, you really don’t need to be wearing make-up.
- Using products such as moisturiser and sun cream before your visit will make your body slippery and will reduce the efficiency of procedures such as scrubbing. If you have used it, it will be better to take a quick shower before you arrive or to indicate this before the turkish bath.
3. Booking and Arrival Time
-
It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability.
-
Arriving on time will allow you to enjoy the full duration of your treatment without feeling rushed.
- If you have requested transfer, it will be very useful to get confirmation by sending a whatsapp message half an hour in advance.
- In transfers from villas, there are sometimes problems in finding the address. To avoid this, please make sure that the villa address is known to us before the day of booking. If it is not known, sending Google map location is the most effective solution. If you do not know how to send the location, please click here!
4. Payment Methods
-
Cash payments (TL, GBP, EUR, USD) are preferred, but other payment methods may also be available.
-
If you wish to pay by card or other means, it’s best to check in advance.
5. What to Bring With You
-
Swimwear (bikini or swim trunks) is required for the Turkish bath (hamam) experience. (Towels are provided for guests who do not have sea clothes with them.)
-
Towels, slippers, shampoo etc. are provided, but if you prefer using your own (especially slippers), you are welcome to bring them.
6. Health Considerations
-
If you have any medical conditions such as pregnancy, heart disease, allergies, or skin sensitivities, please inform the spa staff beforehand.
-
If you have personal preferences regarding massage pressure, specific areas to avoid or gender of your therapist, let us know before the treatment begins.
- The level of pressure that each person likes/needs can be different. Please tell this before the procedure starts or let the therapist know if the massage pressure is too firm or too soft. Likewise, let them know if the temperature of the room needs adjusting etc. We want you to be as comfortable as possible.
7. Spa Etiquette
-
Spas are places of relaxation and tranquility, so maintaining a quiet atmosphere is important for everyone’s enjoyment.
-
Phones should be on silent mode or avoided entirely to enhance the peaceful environment.
- If possible try to leave most of your valuables at home but otherwise keep them stashed away in the locker provided.
8. Pre- and Post-Spa Care
-
Avoid heavy meals before your appointment, as this will help you feel more comfortable during your treatment.
-
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
-
If you have recently had waxing or excessive sun exposure, certain treatments like exfoliation might not be suitable.
9. After Your Spa Experience
-
Your skin may be extra sensitive after treatments like Turkish baths or scrubs, so moisturizing and sun protection are highly recommended.
-
To prolong the benefits of your spa session, take it easy for the rest of the day and continue to hydrate.
A spa day in Dalyan is an unforgettable experience, and following these simple tips will help you make the most of it! Whether you’re trying a traditional Turkish bath, a relaxing massage, or a skin treatment, you’re in for a treat.
